The Graduate Program in Neurosciences and Behavior (PPGNC) at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) brings together researchers with backgrounds in Neuroscience, Behavior Analysis, and Evolutionary Psychology, who are interested in the study of behavior. The goal is to train researchers with an integrated education in Neurosciences and Behavior.
The PPGNC, which holds a score of 4 in the CAPES evaluation, offers a Master's course approved by this entity within the area of concentration in Psychology. Additionally, the PPGNC is awaiting APCN approval for the implementation of the Doctoral course.

Through the Program, the aim is to provide students with the conditions to develop studies that allow conceptual and methodological mastery in the course's research lines, qualifying them for higher education teaching and research. The Program has 15 permanent faculty members, six collaborators, and one visiting professor.
The Program has one Area of Concentration: Neurosciences and Behavior, and two Research Lines: Basic Behavioral Processes and Complex Behavioral Processes.

Objectives of the PPGNC
The Master's program aims to provide graduates with the conditions to develop studies that allow conceptual and methodological mastery in the course's research lines, qualifying them for higher education teaching and research.
